Replacing Imported Gas

Each tonne of Bio-CNG produced at Bundi displaces an equivalent volume of imported LNG from the national gas grid. At 4,500 tonnes per year, the Bundi plant contributes to India's stated national goal of reducing fossil fuel import dependence without subsidy dependency on the revenue side.

Replacing Imported Fertilizer

India spends over USD 3 billion annually on fertilizer imports. Each tonne of FOM sold to a Rajasthan farmer is a direct substitute for imported DAP or urea. At 28,000 tonnes per year, the Bundi plant's fertilizer output represents a meaningful reduction in the fertilizer import burden at the district and state level.

Carbon Credits to Dhansa Labs

Carbon reduction activities — methane capture, stubble burning prevention, fossil fuel displacement and solar generation are structured for monetisation under CCTS 2023. Credits registered in the name of Dhansa Labs Limited (NSE SME: DHANSA), creating a new ESG asset class on the listed parent's balance sheet.

  • Long-term offtake contracts with Torrent Gas and GAIL ensure stable regional economic activity
  • FOM distribution to local farmers supports transition away from costly imported fertilizers
  • Contract farming arrangements stabilise farmer incomes across 350 acres of Napier cultivation within a 5 km radius of the plant
  • Skill development and training in industrial process operations for local technical staff
